HP: Our Slate Supports Flash!

image The Apple iPad public launch is just around the corner, today HP released a video showing its version of a 10” tablet called Slate, running Windows7 with capacitive touchscreen.

Both HP and Adobe are touting the support of Flash based contents so Web site featuring games, video, etc. can be viewed with the same experience as on the desktop browser. This is something that Apple iPad does not provide..

As you know, Windows 7 has capacitive touch screen support built-in, HP put an UI coat on top  for app launching. The panning-pinching- zooming work similarly to the iPad. And like the iPad, it will also display digitized versions of magazines and newspapers.
